Christmas

This year was a good year. We tried our best to make it a wonderful christmas even with limited funds. Richard and I had decided that we weren't going to buy one another presents because we wanted to save money and buy an iPad or some sort of tablet after his school money came in. So we took what we had and bought the kids. They each got a bike and then some small gifts. They were so excited this year. Jackson jumped out of bed and came and woke us up. Before we could even get to the living room, he had already opened a gift (luckily it was his own). Mom got us a new toaster and a gift card to Coneys (best burgers ever). We made her a framed art of all the grandkids names. It still needs some finishing touches but I am happy with what it looks like.

Because christmas day is also Richards birthday, we let him chose what we had for dinner. Every year we do the usual christmas feast and he always misses out on having his birthday dinner so this year we changed it. OF course he asked for burgers so burgers it was. We had the whole summer feast. It was really nice not to have to spend hours in the kitchen.

We spent the rest of the day lounging around, playing with toys, watching master chef and eating. With Christmas being over, we were able to focus on the upcoming babies.
